“AJKHoosier1” Kamberis, went on a winning streak starting in late
September 2008 when he made the final table at the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP)
main event. Having already clinched the Online Player of the Year
(OPOY) lead a few days before this tournament, Kamberis ran over the
field, taking a few bad beats in critical situations, but still managed
to finish in a strong 3rd place finish. This also gave him the largest
leads in OPOY history. (Online Player of The Year)
The rest of the online world was reduced to playing catch up, but
the lead proved to be just too big and Kamberis took down the title of
2008 Online Player of the Year.
Alex also has 6 figure cashes in live events despite not having played very many...
