Jeff Sarwer is a
former chess child prodigy, who learnt to master the game by playing
against himself and once in a while simultaneously against up to 40
other players. Jeff disappeared from the public eye amid a cloud of
controversy by the age of 11. In late 2008 Jeff found a new challenge in
poker and started playing regularly on the European circuit and already
on his first active year on the tour, season 6 of EPT, he was nominated
for EPT Achievement of the Year and EPT Players Choice Award 2010. EPT
Season 6 highlights include a 10th place in EPT Warsaw, a 3rd place at EPT Vilamoura and a 2nd place in the EPT Berlin 10k event. To date, Jeff has 6 EPT cashes and over $500,000 in tournament winnings. Poker
