Full Tilt Poker signs their first South African player – Ryan “Rhino” Dreyer. The successful player from Johannesburg is a former pro golfer with a serious poker ambition.
Last year he won the Million Dollar Sun City Poker Tournament, and he
also managed to cash in the WSOP 7 stud hi-lo event. He is now the top
ranked poker player in SA, after a 3rd place finish at the South
African Poker Open and a victory at the 2 day Poker Ace Event,
according to BLUFF Magazine’s South African Poker Player Rankings. Ryan
did also recently sign with the poker agency Poker Icons.
“We aim to reach all of the
continents and we believe that our presence in South Africa will be
greatly enhanced with the addition of Ryan to our team” said fellow Full Tilt Poker Pro, Howard Lederer.
Ryan intends to reach his goal this year – to win a World Series event, and he is thrilled to have Full Tilt Poker behind him.
