Jakob started playing online poker after a football injury in 2004, and when he later switched from sit n go’s to cash games, he realized he was a true talent. He has played on Everest Poker for some time, and the agreement is a natural step for both parties.
Jakob is studying for a master’s degree in strategy and leadership, but is using all his free time at the tables – both online and live, and the position as Everest Poker Ambassador is a dream come true for this 25 year old Dane. Jakob is represented by the poker player agency - Poker Icons
I am very content with the deal with Everest Poker, and the agreement is a result of a long mutually beneficial relationship. I decided to start playing some events at the EPT tour as my studies are decreasing, and this finally gives me the opportunity to hit the circuit more frequently. I look forward to represent Everest Poker in the best way possible.
Jacob is yet to be discovered on the international live scene, but with this new contract we will surely see more of him in the big tournament events.
