Janar "OmadJoped" Kiivramees started playing poker in 2005 after making an interview with Estonian poker player Imre Leibold. 2 years later he had made it to mid stakes and decided not to work as a journalist anymore - poker became his full time job. He became known in Estonia after winning 4 live no limit holdem tournaments in a row, a record still standing today. While his game was getting more intense and aggressive, in 2007 he decided to start focusing on playing heads up cash games online which he felt was more suitable for him.
In October 2007 he won his first international tournament, Pokernew Cup turbo event for A$20,036 and earned nickname "Crazy Estonian" for his fearless game. 2009 he played his first WPT and finished 5th for a $90,835. Two months later "OmadJoped" binked his biggest score so far, FTOPS $1k 6max NLHE event for $300,000. Few months later he was voted as Estonian player of the year 2009. To this day Janar is a regular in biggest cash games in his country.
Although considered more as a cash game player, Janar has steadily been working on his tournament game and plans to make some major noise in very near future. Tournament Results
