Poker History
Michael came to poker in 2008, still attending school he tried to earn some extra money with sports betting on bwin. The initial plan wasn´t that successful, so he was looking for something different and started exchanging poker basics and strategies in school breaks with his school mate. They both were hooked right away and began seriously working on their game, about a year later his friend gave up on poker but Michael carried on and started having success at small S&G´s. With a small bankroll he moved over to MTT´s and soon had his first 4-digit cash, which was quite impressive, for a young kid who was still attending school.
After his first 5-digit win, he moved from bwin to Pokerstars and that’s when his first real downswing began, but right in time, when he already started to doubt about his skills, he got his first 6-digit payout when he won the Sunday Million in March 2010.
Following social services, where he didn't have much time for poker, he qualified for EPT Vienna and added his first major live success, a prestigious EPT Title to his online poker history. He is now studying Economics in Munich and able and above all willing to dedicate more of his time to what he loves the most…poker!
