Annette Obrestrad started playing poker
online at the age of 15, hence her nickname Annette_15. She started
playing freerolls to build her bankroll. Through playing poker online
she earned the title as worlds best online tournament player and at
the age of 18 she became the youngest ever player to win a WSOP
bracelet taking down the main event at the first WSOPE in London.
After her success in the WSOPE she
continued to play live events in Europe and not a month later from
the WSOPE she came second in the EPT Dublin main event taking just
under $430,000.
Annette has had hundreds of online
final tables including a 7th place finish in the online World
championship of poker and she even won a 180 person tournament
without looking at her cards; a pretty impressive result.
Because of Annette's age it is only
recently over the last year that she has been able to compete in
Poker events in America and already she has managed 6 top 10
finishes. She has also played in her first set of WSOP side events
where she had a mixture of results including a $13k cash in a $1,500
NLH Shootout and $12k in the $5,000 PL Ohama.
Annette is a phenomenal poker player
with Outstanding achievements to date. With a WSOPE bracelet under
her belt there no no question that she will continue to grow and
could quite easily become one of the greatest Poker players of all
time.
